TLDR: Gosling is developing a live-action Flintstones movie at Warner Bros. alongside producing partner Jessie Henderson.

Ryan Gosling is enjoying one of the strongest runs of his career. The three-time Oscar nominee, most recently recognised for his role as Ken in Barbie, recently starred in Project Hail Mary, the adaptation of Andy Weir’s novel by the author of The Martian.
And even with such a packed schedule, he is still finding something new to do, like making a Flintstones reboot.

The Flintstones Reboot
Alongside producing partner Jessie Henderson, the Flintstones project will reportedly focus on an adult Bamm-Bamm Rubble.
The team is currently searching for a writer, while Gosling’s exact involvement remains unclear. He could potentially star in the film or remain behind the scenes as a producer through his Open Invite banner.
Major Franchise Roles Lined Up
Gosling’s upcoming slate is packed with major franchise projects. He is set to star in Starfighter, the upcoming Star Wars film directed by Shawn Levy, which is scheduled to hit theaters on May 28, 2027.
The film also features Aaron Pierre, Amy Adams, Mia Goth, and Matt Smith, making it one of the most high-profile releases on Gosling’s calendar.
Gosling and Levy are also set to reunite in 2028 for Marvel’s Ghost Rider, which was announced at San Diego Comic-Con. The project will mark another major franchise role for the actor.
More Producing Projects Ahead With Henderson
Gosling and Henderson are also producing Love of Your Life, a romance film starring Margaret Qualley and Aaron Pierre. The project is set to premiere next month at the Toronto International Film Festival.
With major roles in Star Wars and Marvel projects, alongside new producing ventures, Gosling’s Hollywood momentum shows no signs of slowing down.
