Timothée Chalamet and Selena Gomez will be leading the voice cast of Not Alone, a brand-new animated adventure from Illumination, the studio behind blockbuster franchises such as Despicable Me and The Super Mario Bros. Movie. The project was officially announced during the Annecy Animation Festival.

A Story About Love and Rockets with Timothée Chalamet and Selena Gomez

Making his animation debut, Timothée Chalamet voices Joe, an introverted rocket mechanic who enjoys a quiet and predictable life. Selena Gomez voices Fran, a brilliant astro-botanist working to create the world’s first plant-powered rocket.

As Joe and Fran work together to prepare for the rocket’s historic first launch, an unexpected romance begins to blossom. Their plans are soon turned upside down when three lovable alien fugitives take refuge inside Joe’s home while escaping an incompetent space officer named Zandro.

Believing Fran’s experimental rocket could finally return them home, the aliens become unlikely companions in a heartwarming and comedic intergalactic adventure.

Supporting Cast Is Also Pretty Star-Studded

The other three alien characters are voiced by Rob Brydon, Diane Morgan, and Jamie Demetriou, while the Ted Lasso star Brett Goldstein lends his voice to Officer Zandro.

The supporting cast also features Allison Janney and Lamorne Morris.
