Set four years after Spider-Man: No Way Home, the story follows an adult Peter Parker who voluntarily erased himself from the memories of his loved ones. Living alone in anonymity, he fights crime full-time in a New York that no longer knows his name. Mounting isolation and the pressure of seeing friends move on trigger a dangerous physical evolution, just as a shocking, invisible threat emerges.

 

Key Narrative Beats

Total Isolation: Peter is entirely alone, having chosen anonymity over his past life to keep others safe. The psychological toll of this choice and watching his friends move forward forms the emotional core of the movie.

Dangerous Transformation: The intense pressure of protecting the city full-time sparks a physical evolution in Peter. This mutation threatens his very existence and runs parallel to Bruce Banner's own struggles with an uncontrollable transformation.

The New Threat: A strange, unusual string of crimes introduces an incredibly powerful villain that cannot even be seen.
