Despite its festive-sounding title, LAST MINUTE DATE《喜到临头》 is more than a story about Chinese New Year.

The film takes inspiration from the everyday experiences of Malaysian Chinese society, with a story that explores life, growing up, nostalgia and finding understanding, all told through humour.
The production will also venture into a variety of authentic Malaysian locations, with local culture, everyday details and uniquely Malaysian elements incorporated into the film's settings and dialogue.

The result is expected to offer audiences not only plenty of laughs, but also a strong sense of familiarity and connection.
