In this next chapter, Earthrealm’s greatest champions—Cole Young (Lewis Tan), Sonya Blade (Jessica McNamee), Liu Kang (Ludi Lin), Jax (Mehcad Brooks), Kung Lao (Max Huang), Kano (Josh Lawson), Bi-Han / Sub-Zero (Joe Taslim), Lord Raiden (Tadanobu Asano) and Hanzo Hasashi / Scorpion (Hiroyuki Sanada), find themselves pitted against one another in an all-out, no-holds-barred tournament.

 

But after being teased in the previous film, Hollywood icon Johnny Cage (Karl Urban) finally joins the fray, his cocky bravado and lethal attacks tilting the balance of power. As the dark rule of Emperor Shao Kahn (Martyn Ford) threatens to crush the very existence of Earthrealm, these warriors must learn to trust each other and unleash their most devastating finishing moves in a race to save humanity from total annihilation.
