Freebies tickets and MovieMoney™ Online and Kiosk Redemption

  1. What is TGV Cinemas MovieClub™ Member Enhanced Services?
    In the past, MovieClub™ members redeem Freebie ticket(s)* or tickets with MovieMoney™ by presenting their MovieClub™ cards at ticket box counters at TGV Cinemas.

    Effective this Jan 2017, MovieClub™ members can enjoy the flexibility of redeeming Freebie ticket(s)* or tickets with MovieMoney&trade online; via www.tgv.com.my or at TGV Kiosks.
  2. That's cool! What do I need to do to enjoy the enhanced services?
    Ensure that your MovieClub™ account is active at all times. Remember to log in to your MovieClub™ account with the registered email address and password before performing transactions at www.tgv.com.my. For transactions at TGV Kiosks, always swipe your active MovieClub™ card upon purchasing tickets.
  3. Does this mean that I can redeem any tickets from any hall?
    Freebie ticket(s) are still applicable for Preferred seating only. As for ticket(s) redeemed with MovieMoney™, selected seats are applicable as long as MovieMoney™ balance is sufficient. Subject to seat availability.
  4. Does this also apply to Freebie Popcorn Combo or Soft Drink?
    These enhanced services are only applicable to redemption of Freebie ticket(s)* or tickets with MovieMoney™ at the moment.
  5. Where do I check for the expiry date of my Freebie ticket(s)* and MovieMoney™?
    Log in to your MovieClub™account via www.tgv.com.my or check with our friendly Customer Service representatives via feedback@tgv.com.my or 1-300-222-848.
  6. How do I redeem Freebie ticket(s)* or tickets with MovieMoney™ via www.tgv.com.my ?
    • Visit www.tgv.com.my
    • Log in to your MovieClub™ account to begin transactions
    • Select preferred movie session. Click Continue
    • Select seat(s) type and click Next (Note: Freebie tickets are only available to Preferred seats)
    • Select Freebie Ticket Type*123 or RD Ticket Type*4 and click Next
    • Check movie details before completing transaction

  8. What about redemption of Freebie ticket(s)* or tickets with MovieMoney™ via TGV Kiosks?
    • Visit selected TGV Cinemas with TGV Kiosks.
    • Select preferred movie session and seat(s). Click Continue (Note: Freebie tickets are only available to Preferred seats)
    • Select Freebie Ticket Type*123 or RD Ticket Type*4 and click Next
    • Check movie details before completing transaction
  9. Will I be charged booking fees for the enhanced services?
    No booking fee will be charged for redemption of Freebie ticket(s)* or redemption of tickets with MovieMoney™
  10. What if I have forgotten to log in or present my MovieClub™ card upon redemption?
    Oh no! Then you will not be able to enjoy any member benefits and services.
  11. Am I able to make changes after redemptions have been completed?
    We advise members to always check before completing transactions. This is to avoid any inconveniences or changes will not be entertained.
  12. But I have redeemed the wrong Freebie ticket(s)!
    We advise members to always check before completing transactions. This is to avoid any inconveniences or changes will not be entertained. Refunds will be performed in the event of cinema/hall breakdown, government declared closure and other scenarios subjected to case by case basis.
