Over the years, the franchise has become famous for its crossover collaborations, featuring characters and killers from iconic horror properties such as Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Alien, Scream, Halloween, Stranger Things, and Five Nights at Freddy’s.

Throdur Palsson Has Been Confirmed as The Director for Dead By Daylight

Director Thordur Palsson brings horror experience to the project through his work on The Damned and the crime series The Valhalla Murders.

Blumhouse founder Jason Blum expressed confidence that Palsson can create a film that appeals to both longtime fans of the game and newcomers discovering the franchise for the first time.

Horror filmmaker James Wan, who serves as a producer on the adaptation, also praised Palsson’s storytelling abilities.

According to Wan, effective horror depends on audiences caring about the characters in danger, and he believes Palsson demonstrated that strength in his previous work.

When is Dead by Daylight Movie Coming to TGV Cinemas?

Production on the Dead by Daylight movie is currently scheduled to begin in 2027. While no official release date has been announced, development is now moving forward with a director attached, although we’re sure it will be shown here in TGV Cinemas.
